Welcome to...
my website! I'm Sheldon, a network engineer who stumbled into reverse engineering through a passion for incident response. After a decade in music followed by a decade in IT security I'm pivoting my passions into new offerings and research.
When I observed Bitcoin tunneling through the Great Firewall of China in 2013 I saw a semi-evasive protocol succeeding where institutions failed. I realized that regulating, fighting or accepting Bitcoin would impact global trade/politics; I am compelled to participate by my diverse experiences. When ETH and the block [size] wars disrupted Bitcoin discussions I chose to focus on the more experimental parts of the industry, starting with 200 ICO audits.
I've resolved thousands of support requests and supervised 9 figures of risk. My work in the Fortune 500 informs an objective approach, including risk & cost management strategies for layered security planning. I prioritize compartmentalization in my solution engineering engagements.
